Owen has been a bit under the weather, so we stayed close to home for Memorial Day weekend. Mark did take a trip up to raft the Kern on Sunday, but other than that we stayed in town.
Setting up one of his little tents in the backyard.
We took short trip to the San Bernardino History and Railroad Museum. It was a fun little free thing to do in town. Owen liked looking at the big Metrolink trains lined up outside.
After wandering around this area for a few minutes we made our way back to the building. This Security guard comes huffing and puffing in our direction and tells us we weren't supposed to be there. Oops, guess you should post a sign, huh?
Owen pushing the button to turn on the Wigwag.
That's the wigwag behind them. Owen doesn't want me to take his picture.
On Memorial Day we went to the National Orange Show Fair. It's located about 2 miles from our house. It was a small scale fair, but a good size for Owen and an afternoon.
Mark and Owen watching the so sad it was funny animal show. See the two people trying to get the cat to jump off the plank. The whole show was like that. Hilarious, but not in the way they intended.
I asked him what his favorite part of the fair was, he said "my car".
Petting zoo, of course.
Hey!
